La 208 se vend toujours bien et vous cassez tout. Pourquoi\u00a0?<br \/>\n<\/strong>Gilles Vidal\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Les pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes g\u00e9n\u00e9rations, de la 206 \u00e0 l\u2019actuelle 208, avaient tendance \u00e0 converger vers un volume\u00a0monospace : pare-brise inclin\u00e9, capot court\u2026 C\u2019\u00e9tait voulu, dans l\u2019air du temps \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque. On s\u2019est dit que cet esprit \u00ab\u00a0monsopacisant\u00a0\u00bb \u00e9tait en perte de vitesse, sauf pour certains produits comme la Jaguar e-Pace qui est tr\u00e8s large et repose sur de grandes roues. Un cahier des charges de nos jours, \u00e7a ne veut plus trop rien dire\u00a0! C\u2019est une discussion continue entre les strat\u00e8ges produits de la marque et les designers. C\u2019est un m\u00e9lange d\u2019intuitions, d\u2019analyses de la client\u00e8le, de feeling cr\u00e9atif, une belle alchimie\u2026\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>Le design est donc int\u00e9gr\u00e9 d\u00e8s les premiers instants du lancement du programme \u00ab\u00a0P21\u00a0\u00bb qui est devenu 208\u00a0?<br \/>\n<\/strong>G.V.\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Oui, bien s\u00fbr. Nous ne sommes pas esclaves d\u2019un briefe\u00a0! Ensemble avec Laurent Blanchet du produit, on va d\u00e9cider d\u2019o\u00f9 on veut aller. Nous voulions un design qui vous fait tomber amoureux facilement\u2026\u00a0Toutes les voitures aujourd\u2019hui ont \u00e0 peu pr\u00e8s le m\u00eame contenu technologique, toutes les marques sont comparables sur ce point et on doit faire la diff\u00e9rence avec un style d\u00e9sirable, instantan\u00e9ment appropriable. Il faut juste adapter le syst\u00e8me de ventilation. Quand vous \u00eates sur un programme Groupe pour plusieurs marques (Peugeot 3008, Citro\u00ebn C5 Aircross, Opel\u2026) vous verrouillez une position commune aux diff\u00e9rents mod\u00e8les. Pour la 208, nous avions la possibilit\u00e9 de choisir notre positionnement de pare-brise pour ce seul programme\u2026\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>Il y a la Corsa qui va arriver sur cette plateforme et qui a d\u00fb s\u2019en accommoder\u00a0?<br \/>\n<\/strong>G.V.\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Pour le coup, la Corsa est venue apr\u00e8s et effectivement, elle reprendra ce positionnement. Il existe mille mani\u00e8res de mettre en sc\u00e8ne cette signature, que ce soient les feux arri\u00e8re, les crocs \u00e0 l\u2019avant, etc.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vous r\u00e9interpr\u00e9ter cette signature pour chacun des mod\u00e8les\u2026<br \/>\n<\/strong>G.V.\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0On ne clone pas nos voitures. Ce sera la fin d\u2019un cycle\u00a0?<br \/>\n<\/strong>G.V.\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Non, car il y a des choses qui se sont d\u00e9clench\u00e9es entre temps. Prenez la signature lumineuse \u00e0 l\u2019avant avec les crocs\u00a0: elle est intervenue en cours du renouvellement de la gamme, avec le concept-car Instinct, et donc pr\u00e9sente seulement sur 508 et 208 pour le moment. On ne sait pas dire aujourd\u2019hui ce qu\u2019elle sera, ni quand elle arrivera. Je saurai vous r\u00e9pondre dans trois ans peut-\u00eatre\u00a0! Dans le monde de la conception automobile, on peut apporter des r\u00e9ponses rapides malgr\u00e9 la lourdeur de cet univers industriel. On a une vision \u00e0 long terme claire mais il faut \u00eatre capable de changer tous les jours s\u2019il y a besoin de changer.
