J\u2019\u00e9tais la designer int\u00e9rieur et avec moi, j\u2019avais un designer sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 dans l\u2019IHM et un autre d\u00e9di\u00e9 aux couleurs et mati\u00e8res. Nous avions \u00e9galement deux modeleurs num\u00e9riques et pendant trois mois on s\u2019est isol\u00e9s pour d\u00e9finir l\u2019int\u00e9rieur id\u00e9al pour la future Clio\u2026\u00a0 C\u2019est une nouvelle approche et une m\u00e9thode qu\u2019on reproduira car elle est int\u00e9ressante pour trouver un nouvel ADN \u00e0 mettre en place.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mais ce travail a \u00e9t\u00e9 effectu\u00e9 tr\u00e8s en amont du projet\u00a0?<br \/>\n<\/strong>M.G.\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Oui, pendant trois mois en 2014 alors que le style exter a d\u00e9but\u00e9 en 2015. On travaille des astuces de style. Par exemple, la planche de bord va d\u00e9border sur les contre-portes mais ce dessin va impacter l\u2019industrialisation de la voiture. Pour ce simple d\u00e9tail, on a d\u00fb remettre en cause certains principes d\u2019assemblage \u00e0 l\u2019usine, notamment l\u2019ordre de montage entre la pose de la planche \u00e0 bord et l\u2019application d\u2019un joint par un robot. C\u2019est un petit combat pour y arriver\u00a0!\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>L\u2019effet de larguer provient aussi de la forme des a\u00e9rateurs\u00a0?<br \/>\n<\/strong>M.G.\u00a0: \u00ab Oui, les a\u00e9rateurs visualisent une lame d\u2019air (comme sur la \u2026 R16, NDA) et ne sont pas au m\u00eame niveau que l\u2019IHM. We met Magali Gouraud who, with her team, took charge of restoring the Clio&#8217;s cabin to life&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>LIGNES\/auto: So, revolution or not on board the Clio V ?<\/strong><br \/>\nM.G.: &#8220;We obviously wanted to go further on the inside, to be at odds and have a new writing. To find this new writing, we changed our working methods with the creation of a small team before the preliminary project phase. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the work of this team ?<\/strong><br \/>\nM.G.: &#8220;We created a working cell in a vacuum for a fairly short time. I was the interior designer and with me, I had a designer specialized in HMI and another dedicated to colors and materials. We also had two digital modelers and for three months we isolated ourselves to define the ideal interior for the future Clio&#8230; It&#8217;s a new approach and a method that we will reproduce because it&#8217;s interesting to find a new DNA to set up. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>But this work was done well in advance of the project ?<\/strong><br \/>\nM.G.: &#8220;Yes, for three months in 2014 while the outdoor style started in 2015. Laurens van den Acker did not see our work until the end but he immediately joined the project! \u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>And did this project include the famous piano keys ?<\/strong><br \/>\nM.G.: &#8220;Yes, the piano keys, we had them by 2014. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>Was the design of the passenger compartment very different from the one chosen in the end ?<\/strong><br \/>\nM.G.: &#8220;No, the drawing was there largely with its bird wing-shaped cap, with more tension in the lines and volumes. When we designed the Clio V dashboard, we had three images in mind: a muscular athlete, a hydrofoil and a technical camera detail&#8230; It was the formal register from which we drew: more sportiness, tension, technology. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>Explain to us how you cheat to get a visually wider board ?<\/strong><br \/>\nM.G.: &#8220;No cheating! We work on style tricks. For example, the dashboard will overflow on the storm doors but this design will impact the industrialization of the car. For this simple detail, we had to question certain assembly principles at the factory, in particular the assembly order between the installation of the board on board and the application of a joint by a robot. It&#8217;s a little fight to get there! \u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>The effect of jettisoning also comes from the shape of the aerators ?<\/strong><br \/>\nM.G.: &#8220;Yes, the aerators visualize an air gap (as on the&#8230; R16, NDA) and are not at the same level as the HMI. They are neutral and at the ends of the board, two other more sculpted aerators visually pull the board wide. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p><strong>Let&#8217;s go back to the &#8220;slab&#8221; of 7 or 10 inch instruments&#8230;.<\/strong><br \/>\nM.G.: &#8220;Our main desire here, in addition to the contribution of technology, was not to overload this area with chrome strapping for example.
