Ces lieux aujourd&#8217;hui ferm\u00e9s, permirent de g\u00e9n\u00e9rer une concurrence totalement herm\u00e9tique avec le centre de design de Guyancourt.<\/p>\n<p><em>There was a time when outsourcing design offices was popular. At Renault, under the Patrick Le Qu\u00e9ment era, outsourced design offices were created in Spain, in Barcelona but also in the heart of the French capital, Bastille. Il me rappelait alors que la Peugeot 205 qui a sauv\u00e9 le groupe PSA a \u00e9t\u00e9 dessin\u00e9e \u00e0 La Garenne-Colombes, en face d&#8217;un&#8230; cimeti\u00e8re et que cela n&#8217;a visiblement pas nuit \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 !\u00a0Aujourd&#8217;hui la donne est bien diff\u00e9rente. La mondialisation et la conception de voitures dites globales, capables de plaire sur toutes les plaques du monde, les bureaux de design s&#8217;\u00e9parpillent sur la plan\u00e8te enti\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p><em>At Peugeot, I remember a striking sentence from G\u00e9rard Welter who did not approve of this type of outsourced studio. He reminded me then that the Peugeot 205 that saved the PSA group was designed in La Garenne-Colombes, in front of a&#8230;. cemetery and that it obviously did not harm creativity !\u00a0Today the situation is very different. Voici que s&#8217;ajoute tout naturellement un lieu de cr\u00e9ation en Chine, en plein coeur de Shanghai qui permettra on le souhaite \u00e0 Renault d&#8217;affronter plus durablement un march\u00e9 en pleine expansion. Pour l&#8217;heure, deux mod\u00e8les sont propos\u00e9s l\u00e0-bas et huit le seront \u00e0 court terme.<\/p>\n<p><em>Until then, Renault had six styling centres: in France in Guyancourt, the &#8220;parent company&#8221; of Renault design, in Bucharest, Sao Paulo, Seoul and two in India in Bombay and Chennai. It is only natural to add a creative centre in China, in the heart of Shanghai, which will enable Renault to face a rapidly expanding market in a more sustainable way.
