Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi: who does what in the Alliance now?

The news of May 29th concerns the Renault brand, but yesterday’s news was about the future of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance. As a first step to better understand this intense week, here is the breakdown of the different markets and technical studies within this Alliance between the three brands:

RENAULT SUPPORTS :

-Reference in the European, Russian, South American and North African markets.
-Reference for the development of connected vehicles.
-Reference for EV engines on thermal origin platforms.
-Reference for the renewal of segment B vehicles (size Clio below/Captur/Micra).

NISSAN SUPPORTS :

-Market reference in China, North America and Japan.
-Reference for the new 100% electric platform, launched with the Nissan Ariya SUV (below).
-Referent for the work on the autonomous car.
-Reference for C-segment SUV vehicles (Kadjar-Qasqhai size).

MITSUBISHI SUPPORTS :

-Reference in the markets of South East Asia and Oceania.
-Reference for plug-in hybrid vehicles in segments C (Kadjar gauge) and D (Koleos gauge).
